Resources for the Clinical Management of Children and Adolescents Who Have Experienced Sexual Violence

As interventions and evidence around GBV have been strengthened, increasing attention is being paid to the need for addressing sexual violence and exploitation of children and adolescents. This collection includes technical considerations, accompanying job aids, and a companion guide to strengthen the linkages between clinical and social services and help address and respond to the unique needs and rights of children and adolescents who have experienced sexual violence and exploitation.

In 2015, several condom manufacturers joined donor agencies to form a coalition whose main goal is to provide 20 billion condoms to low and middle-income countries by 2020. Between August and October 2017, AIDSFree conducted research on barriers that prevent condom manufacturers from entering the African market. AIDSFree used a self-administered semi-structured questionnaire and in-depth interviews to collect information.

Review of the History of Price Revisions of Social-Marketed Brands of Male Condoms in Select Countries

In Africa, social-marketed brands of condoms are usually sold at a subsidized price. This review assessed the prices of social-marketed condom brands in five countries—Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Ultimately, almost all brands adjusted their prices to national consumer price indices and gross national incomes across all five countries.
