AIDSFree Annual Report Project Year 2

The AIDSFree Project translates research findings, models, and lessons learned into programmatic practices; enhances development of technical and organizational capacity to deliver high-impact, evidence-informed programs; and disseminates information through traditional, social, and emerging media to facilitate rapid scale-up of proven combination prevention interventions. During project year 2 (PY 2), the AIDSFree Project applied its expertise in capacity development, technical assistance, and direct service provision to build momentum toward the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS’ (UNAIDS) 90-90-90 goals in seven African countries.

This annual report presents programmatic achievements at both central and country levels for the period October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. The report also includes achievements from field support activities in seven countries— Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe—that were initiated during PY 2.
